Audio everywhere company Raedio has announced artists Jae Stephens and Dri Jack and composers Suzi Analogue and Caroline Ho as the recipients of the Raedio Creators Program Supported by Google. Raedio, which consists of a label, music supervision, library, events, and publishing to serve and support diverse artists and creators, joined forces with Google for the program in an effort to provide opportunity and access to women of color within the music industry. The recipients will receive funding, resources and mentorship from the Raedio team, all while maintaining full ownership of the music they create within the program. Additionally, the tracks will be added to the Raedio library to be actively pitched for placements and sync opportunities.

“When we teamed up with Google to establish the Creators Program, our goal was simple. To offer a platform for underrepresented women in the music industry,” said Issa Rae, Founder of Raedio. “These women have so much talent to offer, and we are thrilled to provide Jae Stephens, Dri Jack, Suzi Analogue and Caroline Ho a home at Raedio and believe this is only the beginning of what we’ll see from them.”

“Jae Stephens, Dri Jack, Suzi Analogue and Caroline Ho are all talented artists and composers whose creativity will undeniably flourish during the Raedio Program Supported by Google,” said Elle Roth-Brunet, Google’s Entertainment Partnerships Lead. “We are proud and grateful to champion the aspirations of this diverse group of women within music. In working with Raedio we hope to expand the pipeline of opportunity for women seeking a place within the music industry.”

Jae Stephens, Los Angeles based R&B futurist, and Dri Jack, self-proclaimed “Princess of College Park” have been selected as the artist recipients and will receive funding from Google to cover recording fees, producer costs and marketing expenses for a 3-5 song EP that will be created during the program. The project will be created under the supervision of the Raedio record label team who will then distribute across all Digital Streaming Platforms. Additionally, Google will fund the production & development of a music video for both artists.

The selected composers include prolific producer, songwriter, composer, and Member of The Recording Academy, Suzi Analogue; and Los Angeles native film composer, pianist and cellist, Caroline Ho. As the composer recipients, Suzi Analogue and Ho will receive funding which will cover recording and artist collaboration costs for a series of collections produced for TV, film and brand syncs. The Raedio music supervision team will work to place the composer’s tracks created during the program in music supervision projects throughout Hollywood.

The partnership was brokered by UTA Marketing, the brand consulting division of United Talent Agency that represents Google.
