Possessing an inimitable swinging style, the mighty NOJO 7 has performed and recorded with a veritable who’s who of artists across all genres.

This 7-piece ensemble, which honors the dynamic traditions of New Orleans brass and rhythm, draws its members from the full New Orleans Jazz Orchestra (NOJO).

Ingrained with soulful grooves and energetic group interplay, NOJO 7 performs the music of New Orleans’ legends woven with both New Orleans brass and contemporary influences of soul, funk, R&B and hip-hop, creating an intergenerational continuum.

Snug Harbor hosted weekly “NOJO Jam Sessions” for several years prior to 2020, and we are thrilled to be bringing the new iteration of this collective back into our programming rotation.
