Perhaps best known for his “soaring” (Rolling Stone), “energetic” (NPR), and “tasteful” (Relix) solos on Saturday Night Live, the 2017 Grammy Awards, and The Tonight Show with Nashville mega-star Sturgill Simpson, Walker is with six full-length releases under his own name and over a decade of music-making in the Crescent City under his belt.

Keith Jarrett is a highly influential American pianist and composer known for his extraordinary improvisational ability and genre-defying career that spans jazz, classical, and solo piano performances. Born in 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jarrett gained early recognition as a member of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers before joining the Charles Mingus and Miles Davis groups, contributing to Davis’s groundbreaking electric jazz fusion era. As a bandleader, he led his own ensembles, including his famed “American Quartet” with Dewey Redman, Charlie Haden, and Paul Motian, as well as his “European Quartet” featuring Jan Garbarek, Palle Danielsson, and Jon Christensen.
