Shaolin Jazz’s CAN I KICK IT? monthly series at Songbyrd DC continues on Wednesday, Mar 29th with a screening of the highly acclaimed anime anthology Batman: Gotham Knight. Shaolin Jazz co-creator DJ 2-Tone Jones will be providing a mix of hip hop, funk, rock, jazz and more to score the film live.

As always the event is free. Doors open at 7p and the film will kick off at 7:30p. Food and drink options will be available throughout the evening as well. Plus, the Shaolin Jazz merch table will be on hand with some apparel items and more.

About Batman: Gotham Knight

Batman: Gotham Knight is an animated anthology film based on the DC Comics superhero Batman (voiced by Kevin Conroy). The film consists of six anime shorts, each with different writing and visual styles, that depict Batman battling against the mob of Gotham City and other villains, and his journeys from a beginner vigilante to the Dark Knight.
