Culture Code is an extension of the “Techno Sisters” parties which originated in Atlanta, Georgia circa 2011 by Ann-Marie and Ashleigh Teasley.

After successfully leading their own musical odysseys, the sisters are back to bring their tales of House and Techno, curated in the context of a spiritual rave which gathers different generations of visionaries under the unifying roof of TV Lounge in the mecca of innovation, Detroit.

Given the nature of its DNA, whose purpose is to connect the past, the present and the future, Culture Code presents CODE X with a line-up that reflects the unbreakable system of mentorship that black creatives have been forging over the past few years. This all-star line up features the legendary SCAN7, Underground & Black’s Ash Lauryn and The AM/AMX, The grand master Rick Wilhite, Musha Publishing’s Omar Meftah, Max Watts of Limited Network and Detroit’s new treasure something blue.

The party itself is a homage to Techno and it’s essence in the early days, but still offers essential Deep House sounds and deeper shades of Techno in the main room with sensations something blue, Rick Whilhite, Meftah, and Ash Lauryn. In room two things get a bit more diabolical with AMX opening up the dance floor for 90’s techno whiz Max Watts and closing live set by SCAN7.
