Linda Sibio’s Economics of Suffering is a four-part interdisciplinary project that combines intensely intricate drawings, performance, and installation to explore devastating effects and emotional scarring caused by the ongoing worldwide financial crisis that peaked in the period from 2007-2010 and continues to affect 99 percent of the population.

Artist Linda Sibio premiers her solo performance piece Wall Street Guillotine. This special performance will further investigate themes in her solo exhibition Economics of Suffering, Part IV, drawing parallels between forms of torture from the Middle Ages and Holy Wars with our current wealth disparity.
