DJ Deeon, a pioneer and legend of the international dance music community, passed away on July 18, 2023. He was instrumental in creating the ghetto house sound from Chicago’s Southside in the early 1990s, a genre that is still revered and played worldwide today.
Join us on September 23rd to celebrate DJ Deeon’s life and music with his friends, collaborators, and fellow ghetto house legends, DJ Godfather, DJ Slugo, and DJ Clent along with Detroit’s Sheefy McFly, Nasty C, and DJ Good Evening!! We’ll be dancing, chanting lyrics, and sharing stories about the man who helped to shape the sound of dance music.
