Gideon King & City Blog
In 2015, Gideon King & City Blog (GKCB) released a full-length CD, City Blog. The music was met with wide critical acclaim, with the Huffington Post calling King a “musical genius.” GKCB released a follow up to Upscale Madhouse in October 2018.

The full length album features guest appearances from John Scofield, Marc Broussard, Grace Weber, Nate Smith, Donny McCaslin, James Genus, Seamus Blake and many more. Gideon King & City Blog continue their remarkable sonic evolution with ‘Love Knot,’ a dazzling, three-song EP released on May 29th, 2020. Hinting at everything from Seal and Lianne La Havas to Stevie Wonder and Steely Dan, the collection is both sophisticated and accessible, weaving its way through unexpected changes with lush arrangements and addictive hooks that blur the lines between jazz, rock, folk, and soul.

After a successful roll out of their latest EP “Splinters”, GKCB will be releasing a covers album in 2025. The album will put a sophisticated twist on old favorites. To support the album GKCB will continue to play in the Northeast throughout 2025.
