Nick Speed has found far-reaching success as a producer, DJ, and MC with a deep love for Motown should and Detroit Hip-Hop. From a childhood steeped in music, Speed became an in-house producer for non-other than G-Unit allowing early work with artists like 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. Speed has since released several studio albums, including ‘The Beat Down’ on Moodymann’s Mahogany Music, and has collaborated with everyone from Proof to Danny Brown, Stacy Epps to Monica Blaire, always taking inspiration from hometown heroes like J Dilla and Eminem.
