@ LA Memorial Coliseum
Monday January 20, 2025
12:30 PM - 3:30 pm
Join a fun day of activities for all ages learning and helping others with the MLK Legacy Project to create installations for schools and projects, as well as creating care packages for the underprivileged across LA, hear special guest speakers and live music, win raffle and auction prizes, and visit a Minecraft March on Washington video game truck to learn about activists from the original march through today!
In 1964, Dr. King spoke to 15k Californians at the LA Coliseum about race relations and human dignity. And now 60 years later we can remember his legacy at the 2025 MLK Volunteer Festival at the same location and help expand our “Beloved Community,” for him a realistic, achievable goal attainable by a critical mass of people committed to the philosophy and methods of nonviolence.
