Mabe Fratti (from Guatemala, based in Mexico City) is a cellist, composer, and singer known for her evocative blend of classical, ambient, pop and avant-garde sounds. She uses her cello, voice, and electronics to craft immersive sonic landscapes. Fratti’s critically acclaimed albums, such as Sentir Que No Sabes and Se Ve Desde Aquí, showcase her talent for creating introspective yet expansive music. She draws inspiration from improvisation, collaboration, and a desire to connect emotionally with her listeners. Her work has evolved playfully through the years, and part of experiencing her music is the element of surprise and unexpected turn of events. Joining her live will be long time collaborator & producer I la Católica (guitar) and improviser Gibran Andrade (drums).
