Join us on Saturday, October 12th, at the Newark Museum of Art for the highly anticipated book launch of HYCIDE, marking the magazine’s powerful return with a special edition that explores race, culture, and societal constructs. Curated by Dr. Yaba Blay and featuring the work of Akintola Hanif, this event is part of the Newark Arts Festival’s Reimagining Legacy day and will delve into topics such as Black power and the impact of Black music, businesses, and art. The evening will culminate in an afterparty with special guest DJs, The Descendants, celebrating the collaboration between Newark Arts, Unsettled, and HYCIDE.
