Hosted by DJ and musician Steen, Open Decks is a creative and fun space where DJs can hang and share their house and techno music live. Hear your favorite or original tracks on Silo’s front room sound system, a custom 10,000 watt Danley powerhouse.

Those that want to play should talk to Steen to sign-up. Sign-up is in person at the event only, slots are 12 minutes.

We’ll select names randomly from the sign-up list throughout the night. You’ll get a half hour notice before your set time. This is to ensure that DJ’s who can’t make the initial sign up right at 8pm still get a chance to play.

This week’s cohost is Toray, a techno producer/DJ from Reno, NV now based in NYC. While in New York, Toray has found himself sonically, by playing at countless venues around the city and landing a release with KMS records. While being a fresh face to the Brooklyn scene, Toray is an artist you are going to want to watch over the next coming months.
