Afrobeats Oakland is THE premier afrobeats collective in the bay area, and one of the biggest brands pushing African dance music on the west coast. Their insanely popular event, Afro Rave, is one of the few parties in the country that combines afrobeats, afro house, amapiano, gqom, kuduro, baile and more for hundreds of attendees on a monthly basis.

Their aim is to democratize the experience of Afropop and African culture while simultaneously deconstructing the spaces it has thus far been relegated to. It aims to utilize these newfound spaces to create opportunities for cultural diversity, deeper understanding of the African continent and encourage dialogue among its diaspora, all while getting you up and dancing on your feet!
