As a beatsmith, he tends to favor lo-fi production methods, oddball samples, with casual yet thoughtful styles of rap.

For the last 15 years, Chicago’s native son Rich Jones has been a staple of the city’s DIY music and arts community. Rich’s creative output has matched the eclectic company he’s kept, as he’s delved into and combined various genres to create a sound and performance that embodies the rhythms and punch of the livest MC with the dulcet tones of the sweetest crooner.

Denmark Vessey spent the early part of his career as one-half of Crown Nation with fellow Detroit rapper/producer Quelle Chris. After meeting through mutual friends in Detroit in the late ‘00s, Vessey and Chris found they had creative chemistry, and quickly developed a friendship.

Brooklyn born, New Orleans based rapper and songwriter, Cavalier has been steadily establishing himself as a prolific recording artist and is best known for his poignant observational lyricism, engrossing multi-media albums and evocative performance.
