Reverso is a trans-oceanic improvising chamber jazz project co-led by Jazz Times’ #1 trombonist, Ryan Keberle, and Frank West, the acclaimed Paris-based pianist and music director for Ibrahim Maalouf. The trio, which also features the world class French improvising cellist, Vince Curt, performs original music that crosses the boundaries of jazz and classical music inspired by the early 20th century French composers Ravel, Faure, Poulenc, Milhaud, Germaine Tailleferre and Lili Boulanger. The band has toured throughout the USA and Europe over the past 8 years to rave reviews from audiences and critics alike including performances in jazz clubs, theaters, churches, chamber music series, and performing arts centers.
