Cutting a name for themselves with must-see sets across Australia, Skin on Skin has since developed international renown through a mix of smokey techno and acid-soaked house. It is dance music for the brain and body, and will be felt at Brooklyn’s HOLO on February 25 as Mean Red welcomes this hotly tipped international star to Brooklyn.

In 2019, Skin on Skin dropped their instantly iconic debut EP via Newcastle’s Steel City Dance Discs. That 4-tracker, Steel City Dance Discs Volume 9, found its way into the bag of Mall Grab, who enlisted Skin on Skin for a European tour and collaborative Ep, Strangers. Both the release and tours saw Skin on Skin’s infectious energy hypnotize new, larger crowds, with iconic sets at Australia’s Beyond the Vallery and Pitch festivals ensuing. Themselves leading to a well-received AVA Festival Belfast set and subsequent Boiler Room appearance.

That appearance saw Skin on Skin on the receiving end of social media fame, with TikTok and YouTube exploding for its mysterious 23:00 track. That track has turned out to be the Techno/Drill hybrid Burn Dem Bridges, the latest release on his own Stay on Sight imprint.
