GetOpen Sessions & MOJÙGBÁ present SOLSDANCE : the equinox set to sun and sound. A FULL DAY of House, soul & afro inspired rhythms for a summer send off like no other. The GetOpen Sessions Park Tour returns to Washington DC after its COVID hiatus for special outdoor house music session in Fort Reno Park.

Let music engulf your senses one last time immersed in sound, positive energy, dancing & healing starting with a special all levels Qigong workshop led by Nicole Jackson & set to deep (we mean REAL DEEP) house opening selections to increase energy and enable the body to heal itself. Our intention is to raise vibrations from earth to sky covering the entire house, soul, world, tech & sonic spectrum. Sessions are open but we humbly request you register & make a donation. All proceeds go to your facilitator.

Lukumi People, is a manifestation of that journey. Deep Just aka DJ AQuaBeaT is a DJ/Producer and the founder of GetOpen Sessions. He is a veteran of the NYC house music scene with over 25 years behind the turntables and even more on the dance floor. Deep Just is known for his technical approach, thoughtful selection and passionate sets. His productions, like his playing are a soul filled blend of afro inspired rhythms and deep tech beats rooted in musical exploration.

Deep Just has shared billing with some of the most influential house dj’s and producers in the business; Boddhi Satva, Dhundee, Op, Jihad Muhamad, ?uestlove, Josh Milan, Julius the Mad Thinker, Fred P (Black Jazz Consortium), Hallex M, Dj Qu, Oscar P, Spider (NYC), E-Man, Jose Marquez, Dj Disciple, Salah Ananse, Hard Hittin’ Harry, Master Kev, and Sabo to name a few. He’s played in NYC, New Jersey, Washington DC, Omaha, Boston, St. Louis, Denver; Atlanta, Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba and at such festivals as The Winter Music Conference; Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Atlanta Weekender and Mi Casa Es Su Casa Holiday.

Tommy Wickens a.k.a. DJ A.Plane grew up in Long Island, New York the early age of 10 he got his first experience at deejaying and instantly fell in love with all music. In the late 90s while club hopping up and down the East Coast, Tommy began experimenting with producing House music which directly impacted his DJ style and the development of his Afro-Latin and Deep Soulful sound.

Tommy has appeared on Fox 5 Morning News as one of the Friday DJs, alongside DJ Dee Clark. He has played sets at different venues in the Washington DC area including Zeba Bar, Club Eden, Flash, Dunya’s, Ching and Liv/Bohemian Cavern, St Mary’s Restaurant, The Meeting Place, Bravo Bravo, Polka dot Park, Anacostia Park.

Tommy is currently a part of Cyberjamz internet Radio Station and has his first House music release on Monie Power Records.
