InJoy Enterprises & Imagenation presents the Annual Soul Train Tribute at Marcus Garvey Park. The Soul Train Tribute is a multimedia jam in Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, NY that includes a film screening, a Soul Train Dance Party and a concert featuring top independent artists interpreting the music of the selected legend in their own way.

This year’s featured film will be the documentary “Luther: Never Too Much,” which will premiere on CNN and The OWN Network in 2025. This will be a first time Harlem screening of the film. “Luther: Never Too Much” chronicles the story of a vocal virtuoso, exploring how Vandross, the
artist behind songs like “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now” and “Endless Love,” grappled with critiques
of his weight and physique, racism as he tried to earn respect in the music industry, and constant speculation about his sexuality. The film features largely archival footage of him collaborating with friends like Mariah Carey, Dionne Warwick, Valerie Simpson, and Roberta Flack. Vandross died in 2005 of a heart attack at the too-young age of 54.

The Soul Train Tribute begins at 6pm with DJ Stormin Norman, Everyone is invited to join the Soul Train Line, The tribute mini concert will feature some of NY’s great independent artists including Chris Rob, Heshima, Keith Anthony Fluitt, Chandlar & Karen J and more and the evening will close with the Harlem Outdoor Screening of “LUTHER: Never Too Much”
