Miami based, Soul Vaccinators compose their own take on Soul Jazz and Groove records. Led by Addison Rifkind (guitar) and Eduardo Garcia (drums), the group originally formed at a residency at Gramps in Wynwood. The two connected over their love of Soul music after Addison moved to Miami from California during the pandemic.

Addison Rifkind’s classic jazz guitar sound proved to be a refreshing addition to the Miami music scene. Though his sound is reminiscent of Grant Green and Wes Mountgomery, his arrangements and playing are fully informed by his love of hip hop, funk, soul and modern records.

Eddie Garcia Jr. was born and raised in Miami and has performed and recorded with some of South Florida’s most notable bands including Psychic Mirrors, Scone Cash Players and Tony & the Kings to name a few. Steady Eddie, which he has been affectionately named in the studio, has a fundamental understanding of roots music including Soul, Blues, R&B, Funk and Latin styles that lay the foundation for the Soul Vaccinators sound.
