Artists are a threat to American fascism.

Fall of Freedom is an urgent call to the arts community to unite in defiance of authoritarian forces sweeping the nation. Our Democracy is under attack. Threats to free expression are rising. Dissent is being criminalized. Institutions and media have been recast as mouthpieces of propaganda. We must take action to stand up for our values and our neighbors. As an International Hip Hop community in New York City, we come together in Brooklyn for a Hip Hop show in support of the Fall of Freedom call.

The legendary Smif n Wessun of “Bucktown” and Boot Camp Click fame headlines this powerful show as a crew reppin Brooklyn, we have King Capo from the Dominican Republic, Audry Funk repping the immigrant experience in NY via Mexico, we have the young Roque Starz literally repping for the kids and the youth whose future is at stake. Along with RodStarz and DJ Illanoiz from Rebel Diaz and DJ KayKay47 repoin for the ladies from The Bronx. Presented by The Action Lab and Hands Off NYC.
