Embarking on a new musical journey, futuristic folk pop singer-songwriter and producer Brooklynite Thomas Piper is celebrating and previewing new selections from his forthcoming second album scheduled for release summer 2023. Thomas Piper’s new album is reminiscent of the late ’60s, early ’70s singer-songwriter Laurel Canyon movement and west coast storytellers. Drawing inspiration from the early soft rock movement and performance style influenced by years in the New York City beat maker and lo-fi scene, Piper meticulously blends them crafting his signature futuristic folk sound and wailing guitar riffs live on stage with the Ableton Push. Accompanied songs from his first album and captivating visuals filmed and directed by Piper himself, the audience will go on a soulful sonic and visual journey, exploring themes around the dystopian world we live in post-pandemic. Join us for an intimate reflection on life, hope, and elevated love.
