Tony Austin, known for his versatility and dynamic performances, is one of Southern California’s most sought-after drummers. He has toured and recorded with renowned artists such as Lauryn Hill, Carlos Santana, Roy Hargrove, Willow Smith, Gwen Stefani, Patti LaBelle, and Dave Chappelle. As a member of the Los Angeles-based group West Coast Get Down (WCGD), he was the producer, engineer, and drummer on many of their albums, including Kamasi Washington’s critically acclaimed The Epic, named one of the best albums by Rolling Stone and Pitchfork.
