What began as friends curating YouTube playlists together soon turned into Bon Entendeur, a trio who found their niche pairing soundbites of celebrity interviews with nu-disco grooves. The duo have become regulars on the French festival circuit, playing chilled-out, hip-hop-inflicted funk from over 30 of their mixtapes – each of which revolve around an interview with a notable figure, from rapper MC Solaar to former President Charles de Gaulle.

At the beginning, Bon Entendeur made a name for itself thanks to its mixtapes made with the voices of celebrities in the background. Their first album, Aller-Retour , released in 2019, had the original idea of ​​highlighting the French-speaking wave of the seventies with contemporary sounds. A great success: four years later, the album was certified platinum and its flagship title, Le temps est bon , a diamond single. Their second album, Minuit , which went gold in a few months, was released in 2021. It spins the allegory of the time of the change and this furious desire to deconfinement the day until the end of the night. Two exceptional tours followed: one in France passing through the prestigious halls of the Olympia and the Zénith. Another in 2023 internationally: the Transatlantic Tour exports their French touch to sold-out audiences in the footsteps of their elders.
