This Friday, SFJAZZ presents an exclusive broadcast of a March 2019 concert featuring John Scofield, who is considered one of the most influential jazz guitarists of the last four decades, joined by all-star psychedelic funk juggernaut Lettuce. Even though there is a long history between the two, the collaboration, until now, has rarely been captured on video.

In the Live For Live Music review of the concert, they stated “SFJAZZ was a funkalicious five-alarm fire before the legendary Scofield even took the stage … the flowering of two generations of jamtronica was eloquently revealed.”
