For over fifteen years Hip Hop Public Health’s work has been “breaking it down” to make the science of health make sense to us all. HHPH has remained rooted in achieving health equity by harnessing the transformative power of music, art and science to improve health literacy and inspire positive behavior change. Today, as we face a dual-level pandemic: systemic racial injustice and a public health crisis we are reminded why our work is invaluable; why Hip Hop Public health was born; and why it is critical for us to emerge from this moment together with supporters like you, knowing that we did everything we could to help close the disparity gaps and save lives. With your support, HHPH will have the power to be a light in this country, shining hope through our public health work, harnessing the power of music for health and healing.
