Lyfe Jennings (born Chester Jermaine Jennings on June 3, 1978) is an American R&B singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Toledo, Ohio, known for his gritty, soulful voice and raw storytelling. After serving 10 years in prison for arson as a teenager, he released his debut album, Lyfe 268-192 (2004), featuring hit singles “Must Be Nice” and “Stick Up Kid”.
