Afrodjia Social Club orchestral deejay set by Sadie Woods will feature regional and world renown musicians that, together, brings a breadth of musical traditions and practices spanning jazz, orchestral music, Caribbean and diasporic forms, improvisation, percussion, and contemporary music, creating a dynamic exchange between deejaying and live instrumentation.

Featured musicians include: Charles McKeith (drums), Edith Yokley (violin), Chris Paquette (percussion), Avery Attzs (steel drum), Joe Sonnefeldt (steel drum), Thaddeus Tukes (vibes, keys), Royce Harrington (trombone), Kevin Nabors (tenor saxophone), Mario Abney (trumpet), Frank Russell (bass), Illuminati Congo (vocals), and Isa Starr (vocals).

Hospitality features farm-to-table dinner service by Chef Roberto Pérez of Urban Pilón with locally sourced ingredients from Cedillo’s Fresh Produce. Mixologist Matthew Schremp will serve tropical cocktails and mocktails, and spirit tastings designed to extend the evening’s music and culinary experience. Actress, comedian, and cultural worker Melissa DuPrey will host the evening.
