Alchemist & Evidence Team Up To Release Collaborative LP “Lord Steppington” With Guest Appearances From Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Blu, Fashawn, Rakaa Iriscience, Oh No, Styles P, Domo Genesis & The Whooliganz – Step Brothers “Lord Steppington” will be released on 1-21-14 On Rhymesayers Entertainment

Alchemist & Evidence have always shared a strong bond.  If you trace back the lineage of there respective careers to the very beginning you will find that they have always regularly contributed to each others projects. As the pair’s collaborations continued to mount, they began labeling themselves as “Step Brothers” when they would record; as noted on Evidence’s The Layover EP and it was only a matter of time before they decided to record an album together.  That time is now upon us, as Alchemist & Evidence will be releasing the first Step Brothers project, Lord Steppington, on 1-21-14 courtesy of Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Evidence has traveled the world and released a string of acclaimed albums as a member of the revered West-Coast collective Dilated Peoples and as a solo artist and become a very respected producer crafting beats for Beastie Boys, Linkin Park & Kanye West (which earned him a Grammy) among others.

For his part, Alchemist is quickly becoming one of rap’s top triple threats, producing for a virtual who’s who list of the industry’s biggest and brightest names; Nas, Snoop Dogg, Mobb Deep, Curren$y, Fashawn, Action Bronson, Prodigy, Roc Marciano, P. Monch, Royce 5’9, Big Pun, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Ghostface, Styles P, Game, Linkin Park, 50 Cent, Cypress Hill, Nelly, Cam’Ron, Scarface, Joell Ortiz, Fabolous, Slaughterhouse, Raekwon, Blu, Rick Ross, Sir Michael Rocks, Schoolboy Q, Danny Brown, Joey Bada$$ and Lil Wayne (which Alchemist won a Grammy for his contribution to Tha Carter III).  In addition, Alchemist is now serving as Eminem’s touring DJ, appeared on Saturday Night Live as Eminem’s DJ and he also made an appearance in the video for “Berzerk” from Eminem’s recently released The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Now as the Step Brothers, Evidence and Alchemist deliver another stellar musical achievement, Lord Steppington, which supplies lyric-driven, punchline heavy and intricate rhymes.  Lord Steppington boasts the best of the duo peppered with frequent collaborators and friends, including; Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Domo Genesis Styles P, Blu, Fashawn, Rakaa Iriscience, Oh No and even a reunion cut with Alchemist’s first group The Whooliganz (which included actor Scott Caan & Evidence).

Recently premiered the first video, “Step Masters” (directed by Jason Goldwatch) from Lord Steppington and it revolves around Alchemist & Evidence engaged in various “brotherly” competitions, some of which include; fastest beer chug, Jenga, fastest orange peel, best ping-pong handles, Dance Revolution and other athletic endeavors only suitable for athletes in peak mental and physical condition.

Alchemist & Evidence will be headed out on a world tour to support Lord Steppington which starts in Europe on 1-15-14 and after touring internationally the duo will return to the states to kick off US tour dates.
