It’s been some time since Res burst onto the scene with her critically acclaimed debut album “How I Do”. A breath of fresh air for soul music as Res effortlessly blended Soul, Rock, Alternative & Hip-Hop sensibilities with rhythmic harmonies & eloquent soundscapes.
Following “How I Do”, Res formed the group, Idle Warship with hip-hop mainstay & social activist Talib Kweli. They released “Habits of The Heart” to great fanfare. Res also recorded & released “ReFried Mac”, a dedication to the Legendary Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac.
Fast forward present day and Res is putting the final touches on her long awaited sophomore album RESET. Side-stepping label politics, Res has initiated a crowdfunding / indiegogo campaign to bring her fans and cult-like following the album, unapologetically – her way.
