The creators of Shaolin Jazz are coming to Texas with their critically acclaimed CAN I KICK IT? movie screening experience with a screening of Bruce Lee’s iconic martial arts classic Enter the Dragon. It’s taking place in downtown Garland as part of the Big Art Day spring arts festival produced in collaboration with the Garland Cultural Arts Commission, Inc., Garland Independent School District, and Visit Garland with support from the City of Garland. Seating opens at 7pm and the movie will begin at 8pm.

CAN I KICK IT? is a film experience catered to the lovers of Kung-Fu flicks, the music they inspired and everything else in between. At each event cult classic and contemporary martial arts/action films are screened and scored live (scene-by-scene) with a blend of Hip Hop, Soul, Funk and more mixed by DJ 2-Tone Jones.

Big Art Day is a spring arts festival produced in collaboration with the Garland Cultural Arts Commission, Inc., Garland Independent School District, and Visit Garland with support from the City of Garland. It celebrates and showcases artists and the arts in Garland. Visitors to Big Art Day can view and purchase work at the Art Market, explore exhibits at Granville Arts Center, participate in interactive hands-on crafts for kids, and enjoy live entertainment.
