Brad Walker is perhaps best known for his “soaring” (Rolling Stone), “energetic” (NPR), and “tasteful” (Relix) solos on Saturday Night Live, the 2017 Grammy Awards, and The Tonight Show with Nashville mega-star Sturgill Simpson, Walker is a compelling artist in his own right, with six full-length releases under his own name and over a decade of music-making in the Crescent City under his belt. Brad Walker and rising progressive trio, EXTENDED, released their debut collaboration record, “Side by Side,” in April 2023. Recorded in 2021 at local Esplanade Studios, the project is the result of their extensive work together during the Covid-19 shutdown and features a roster of all-new compositions by each of the members of the band.
