The CAN I KICK IT? Outdoor Movie Series presented by Shaolin Jazz is back for another Summer of unforgettable, action-packed films scored live by DJ 2-Tone Jones. This year’s series takes place in 3 different locations across the District, including the National Mall the first time ever.

The series concludes on Saturday, September 5 with a screening of the 1983 cult classic film Scarface (R), starring Al Pacino. It’s taking place by the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. The evening will begin with a guest DJ set at 7pm, followed by the film at 8:15pm. It is strongly encouraged for you to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. The event is free and open to the general public (this film is rated-R and intended for mature audiences).

About Scarface
After getting a green card in exchange for assassinating a Cuban government official, Tony Montana (Al Pacino) stakes a claim on the drug trade in Miami. Viciously murdering anyone who stands in his way, Tony eventually becomes the biggest drug lord in the state, controlling nearly all the cocaine that comes through Miami. But increased pressure from the police, wars with Colombian drug cartels and his own drug-fueled paranoia serve to fuel the flames of his eventual downfall.
