@ Jazz at Lincoln Center

Friday October 17, 2025

07:30 PM - 11:00 pm

Latin jazz comes alive in this vibrant centennial tribute to the Cuban “Queen of Salsa,” Celia Cruz. Music director Carlos Henriquez, acclaimed bassist of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and one of today’s leading voices in Latin jazz, brings both authenticity and artistry to the celebration. Having performed with Cruz early in his career, Henriquez leads an unforgettable program that honors her enduring legacy.

He is joined by three powerhouse Cuban vocalists: Grammy Award-winner Aymée Nuviola, known as La Sonera del Mundo; versatile singer and bassist Alain Pérez; and Grammy-nominated Ariacne Trujillo Duran, whose music blends Cuban roots with jazz brilliance. Together, they fill the stage with soaring vocals, irresistible rhythms, and the joyful spirit that made Celia Cruz a global icon.
