Through a combination of driving Detroit Techno, smooth Chicago House and raw West Coast Rap, Compton’s Channel Tres has become one of the most buzzed-about talents to hit the scene in some time. Starting with 2018, when his track Controller was named an Essential New Tune and received significant international airplay. This early success was followed up with the release of his self-titled EP and other notable singles, including Black Moses featuring JPEGMAFIA, Fuego featuring Tyler, The Creator, and Take Your Time featuring Tinashe. Further collaborations have come with everyone from Robyn to James Blake to Disclosure to Toro y Moi, as Channel Tres continues to carve his distinct place in the global tastemaker scene. On October 6, Channel Tres come to Leland City Club as MeanRed welcomes Channel Tres to the Detroit stop of his 2022 tour with support from talented Toronto-baed vocalist Rochelle Jordan.
