Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah, formerly known as Christian Scott, is a highly acclaimed musician and innovator, holding two Edison Awards, six Grammy nominations, and a Doris Duke Award in the Arts. As a trumpeter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and designer of groundbreaking technologies and instruments, he is recognized for creations such as The Stretch Music app and Adjuah Trumpet. Adjuah is also the founder and CEO of the Stretch Music App and Recording Company.

He holds significant cultural roles, including being the Chieftain and Oba of the Xodokan Nation and the Grand Griot of New Orleans. Adjuah, the grandson of Big Chief Donald Harrison Sr., joined his grandfather’s Guardians of the Flame banner at the age of 5. His musical contributions include thirteen studio recordings and collaborations with notable artists like Prince, Thom Yorke, and McCoy Tyner.

Adjuah’s impact extends beyond music, with film projects, brand partnerships, and numerous accolades, such as the Jazz Journalist Association Trumpeter of the Year Award and The Herb Alpert Award in the Arts. He is dedicated to various philanthropic causes, supporting organizations like Each One Save One, Black Lives Matter, and Acres of Ancestry Initiative. Adjuah is also involved in educational initiatives, conducting master classes and contributing to youth music programs. His advocacy for human rights further solidifies his influential role in the world.
