On Saturday, May 11th, Crate Stories Live returns with an exclusive exploration into the life and music of the legendary Saukrates. Hosted by Toronto Rap Aficionado, Arcee, this intimate conversation will journey through the prolific career of Saukrates—from his groundbreaking early works in the ‘90s to the anticipated new single, “Driftin’” produced by Gil Masuda and set to drop worldwide on May 17th, courtesy of Love Touch Records.

Crate Stories, a talk series curated by Loop Sessions Toronto, celebrates the art of vinyl collecting and its impact on DJing and music production. The event has seen luminaries like Jake One, Marco Polo, K-Cut from Main Source, and Dan Charnas of Dilla Time share their insights, standing as a testament to the series’ significance in the city’s music community.
