Among those watching closely were future innovators like Derrick May and Jeff Mills — artists who would later say Delano helped shape the very foundation of Detroit techno. The influence was real. The music had Inspiration.

Through four decades of global travel — Berlin, Tokyo, Paris, London — Delano carried Detroit’s sound everywhere. Deep, soulful, hypnotic.
