US soul/R&B and jazz artist Jarrod Lawson begins 2026 with the soulful, melodic, R&B slow jam ‘Do Whatchu Gotta’, co-written with French chill-hop artist Rose Noir.
Featuring Jarrod’s exquisite vocal harmonies and atmospheric keyboard talents, the track captures the quiet acceptance of letting someone go, and launches the campaign for his new album Just Let It, due May 1st.
The long awaited 14-song album, for release on May 1, includes Next Move, Jarrod’s collaboration with Los Angeles vocalist Raquel Rodriguez, which not only hit #1 on the US Urban Influencer R&B/Soul Top 30, but also became the #1 track of 2024on the UK Soul Chart.
