Nature Loves Courage is an “electro-funk-rock” band bending entire genres to their will. Their name is inspired by a quote from psychedelic philosopher Terence McKenna.

NLC’s big sound blends ethereal synths and electronic/industrial/trip-hop grooves with a funk-inspired live rhythm section.

Sonically NLC has been compared to Garbage, Blondie, Goldfrapp and St. Vincent. NLC’s vocalist has drawn comparisons to Róisín Murphy, Annie Lennox, Siouxie, and Kate Bush. Her lyrics explore the personal (relationships, anxiety) the global (social media, politics), and the magic/metaphysical.
