From his iconic trio work with guitarists Oscar Moore and Irving Ashby and bassists Wesley Prince and Johnny Miller to his “Unforgettable” years fronting full orchestras, Cole’s recording career influenced countless artists across genres and generations. For one night only, Reggie Thomas, Michael Howell, Brandi Disterheft, and Vince Cherico pay homage to Cole and his staggering output, inviting vocalists Marion Cowings, Charenee Wade, and Charles Turner to interpret selections across his expansive repertoire.
