The Recording Academy LA Chapter Block Party for Nashville Flood Relief Fund

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Aug. 2, 2010) — The Recording Academy® Los Angeles Chapter’s first-ever GRAMMY Block Party® was a big success in its effort to raise money for the MusiCares® Nashville Flood Relief Fund. More than 900 people attended the picnic-style concert with performances from akaCassidy, Charice, Raphael Saadiq, La Santa Cecilia and Chuck Wicks. The fundraiser brought in more than $30,000 to help those in the music community that are victims of the floods
