With family roots in St. Louis and Chicago, he was surrounded by jazz, blues and soul culture from an early age, but it was when he moved to L.A. that the production side got serious. Cold blooded music biz led to spiritual emancipation, when the religion of Ifa discovered him. After two years Osunlade returned to music in New York, with new found direction and a spiritual balance.
