Up next, Disconic is pleased to bring you another round of no-nonsense dancefloor catharsis as we invite two long-standing practitioners of all things HOUSE. First up is Aaron Paar, LA’s adopted son, Worldship label boss, producer, and that term we hear all the time lately: a DJ’s DJ. What does that mean? That changes depending on who you ask. For us, it means being a student of the craft, taking the time to hone real skills, and steadily contributing to a scene without chasing clout or clicks. It’s a quality that you don’t encounter often in this age of social media, but Aaron was doing his thing before all that mattered, and we imagine he’ll keep doing his thing whether behind the turntables or in a studio.

Perfectly paired with the Teflon Don is Mr. NDATL himself, Kai Alcé. Kai has been putting his own distinctive imprint on the scene for several decades now, doing literally everything from working lights and throwing parties to producing records and perhaps most importantly, exposing a new generation of dancers to producers both old and new that deserve a spotlight. NDATL has become a vital U.S. label that encompasses all facets of house music, drawing inspiration from the cities that helped lay the foundation for club culture while also nudging things forward. Listen to releases from Worldship and NDATL and you’ll likely agree. Both have a deep understanding of what’s come before while still retaining their own unique lens and take on the genre.

And setting the tone for the night, Disconic is honored to welcome Bronx-born, LA-based SEEPS. Raised in the warm chaos of her family’s basement parties, she developed an early and lasting connection to the sounds of the city that raised her. Expect a soulful collision of classic NYC cuts, Boricua heat, rare grooves, and everything in between, all sharply woven together, reflecting her deep lived-in knowledge of this thing we call “house music”.
