Saxophonist and composer Greg Ward returns to The Jazz Gallery for his first appearance as a leader since 2017. A vital part of his musical development during his years in New York (2009–2015), the Gallery remains a deeply meaningful space in Ward’s artistic journey. For this engagement, Ward presents a dynamic quintet of deeply expressive and inventive musicians: Marta Sanchez (piano), Emmanuel Michael (guitar), Harish Raghavan (bass), and Kenneth Salters (drums). Together, they will perform two sets of Ward’s original compositions.
