Meryl Zimmerman is a dynamic New Orleans vocalist who has performed on many of the city’s most iconic stages, from Jazz Fest and French Quarter Fest to venues like Snug Harbor, Tipitina’s, and the Spotted Cat, as well as aboard the Steamboat Natchez with the John Mahoney Little Band. A versatile performer, she moves seamlessly between jazz, funk, rock, and classic pop, while also leading her own group, the Meryl Zimmerman Quintet. In addition to her work on stage, she is a dedicated educator at Loyola University and the University of New Orleans, an active collaborator in theatrical and interdisciplinary projects, and the host of a beloved weekly jam session at Carrollton Station. With three albums to her name, Meryl brings a rich, engaging musical presence to every performance.
