Presented by Mahogani Music, Mama’s Crates, and Fusicology, the evening will feature Moodymann curating a deeply personal musical journey through Prince’s expansive catalog and creative legacy. Drawing from decades of inspiration, Moodymann will explore the sounds, spirit, and cultural impact of one of music’s most revolutionary artists through a genre-defying selection of music spanning funk, soul, house, jazz, rock, and beyond.
The event will also feature rare Prince visuals presented on the theater’s large screen, creating an immersive audiovisual experience that celebrates Prince’s artistry, innovation, and lasting impact on generations of musicians and fans.
Joining Moodymann will be DJ RASHIDA, a long-time collaborator of Prince and a special guest, to be announced. More than a tribute, MOODYMANN PLAYS PRINCE is an opportunity to experience Prince’s legacy through the lens of one of contemporary music’s most respected and influential selectors. The event brings together music, visuals, community, and storytelling in a theater setting designed for both listening and reflection.
