BassX is a New Orleans jazz fusion collective led by GRAMMY-nominated sousaphonist Julius McKee. Drawing inspiration from the city’s rich musical heritage, the group reimagines traditional jazz through a modern lens, placing the sousaphone at the center of a sound that is both deeply rooted and refreshingly innovative.
