Celebrate the release of André Cymone’s new album, The Resurrection of Funk, with a special pre-event listening party at Love Song Bar on Friday, August 14, 2026.

An original Prince musical collaborator and co-founder of the Minneapolis Sound, André Cymone helped shape a revolutionary musical movement. His new album brings that legacy forward with a bold, contemporary celebration of funk, arriving on the same day as this special Los Angeles gathering.

The Artform DJs will guide the evening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, creating a seamless musical lead-in to MOODYMANN PLAYS PRINCE next door at The Regent Theater.

The listening party is free, open to the public and requires no cover.

Following the listening party, continue the celebration at The Regent Theater for MOODYMANN PLAYS PRINCE, featuring Moodymann, DJ Rashida, a special live guest set by André Cymone and an opening set by DJ Chrome Queen. Doors open at 8:00 PM, with tickets available separately for the main event.
