Richard Saunders makes music for the hopeless romantics, the overthinkers, and anyone searching for a little honesty in an uncertain world. A queer singer-songwriter and producer, Saunders describes his sound as “cloud soul,” blending the warmth of classic R&B with dreamy textures, soulful vocals, and deeply personal storytelling. After releasing albums with Thirdstory and Refs, Saunders has carved out a solo world that feels both deeply personal and expansive. His work has amassed over 100 million streams and drawn recognition from artists including SZA, Timbaland, and Elton John, alongside collaborations with Chance the Rapper, Daniel Caesar, Yebba, and others.
